Covid-19 Secure at The Inn on the Moor Hotel

We think it is safe to say that it has been a remarkable year already. Just like you, our family here at ‘The Inn’ and those in the wider community of Goathland have all played a part in making history as the Coronavirus Pandemic has swept across the globe. Our community is just one of many working together, finding new ways of moving forward and adapting to an alternative way of life.

 

As restrictions are lifted and guidelines are continually developed, we are finding ways to balance our exceptional levels of customer service with the high safety and hygiene standards required to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. We have worked alongside our community, guests and staff team to ensure that we make the right changes to our practices at The Inn, allowing you the peace of mind to relax and make the most of your time in Yorkshire.

What your stay with us will look like

Here at the Inn on the Moor Hotel, the safety and wellbeing of our customers, guests and employees is paramount. We have put together a helpful checklist of all the measures we have put in place to help you have a safe and enjoyable stay at The Inn on the Moor Hotel.

We have completed a COVID-19 Risk Assessment.

We have a designated Health & Safety Representative responsible for checking, understanding, and implementing the relevant guidance for our business.

We have a protective shield in place at Reception to protect our guests and our staff team.

We have clear and encouraging hand-washing guidance displayed at appropriate points.

We have hand-sanitising stations where necessary.

We have extended our check-in time to 4pm to allow our dedicated housekeeping team more time to complete thorough deep cleans of our hotel rooms.

We have introduced further cleaning measures in our public areas.

We have social distancing guidance and measures in place.

Our food service times have been extended and are now 5pm to 8:30pm every day.

We will be operating table service throughout the hotel. This will include the service of our hotel breakfasts.

We will be encouraging contactless payments for food, drink, and accommodation.

We have a limited the contact required for our check-in and check-out processes whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards.

We have attained the Visit Britain ‘Good to Go’ Certification.

Our dedicated and friendly staff team are wearing appropriate PPE where necessary.

We will be managing guest and visitor contacts in order to assist the NHS Test and Trace.

Room Service options have been extended to ensure our guests can choose the level of contact they have with others.

Our staff team have been involved with our planning processes, received additional training and information and are ready to answer any questions you may have about our service.

We regularly check and review our policies and processes against Government guidance to ensure full compliance and fulfilment of our obligations.

We will always ensure that you receive a warm, friendly, and personal welcome to the Inn on the Moor Hotel.
