Kickstart your 2023 with Ginuary at the Inn on the Moor Hotel

A celebration of all things Gin during the month of January

January is a difficult time for many of us after the chaotic build up to Christmas and the buzz of New Year. Now we find ourselves in January, we’ve eaten too much food, the decorations need taking down and everywhere feels a little bare.

Whilst many of you might be taking part in Dry-January, we’re celebrating the very opposite. Rather than campaigning to stop drinking, we’re recomending that you join us for – #Ginuary.

It will be easy, we’ll provide you with lots of reasons to talk about Gin, help you learn about Gin and you can, of course, drink Gin (in moderation).

The Inn's Gin Selection

One thing we hear from our customers a lot is “Wow! That is a lot of Gin!”

And yes, for a small rural bar, there’s a fair few. 37 to be precise with 27 of them coming from Yorkshire Distilleries, which is something we are really proud of.

Have a look at our drinks menu to see just a few of the Gin varieties with have available.

Throughout January (or Ginuary as we’ll call from here on), we’ll be providing you with useful information about the different types of gin, answering some of those questions that we frequently get asked and sharing some of our gin cocktail recipes with you.

We might even throw in the odd special offer too – our own ‘Ginuary’ sales!

Yorkshire Distilleries

At the Inn on the Moor Hotel, we’re proud to support other Yorkshire businesses whenever and whenever we can. That’s why we choose to offer a wide range of excellent quality gins, distilled in Yorkshire.

If you’ve got this far, you’re likely to be serious about gin and you appreciate a great gin when you try one. We’ve listed some of our favourite Yorkshire Gin producers, so you can find out more about them too.
