  This hotel is a true find in a beautiful village close to everything you could want to see & do in North Yorkshire. We stayed for 2 nights with our... read more 2 dogs and it was a lovely suprise to find they each had a 'doggy bag' of treats, a toy & poop bags waiting for them, there was also a bed each, blankets & towels along with food & water bowls for them too, all in our room. The next morning our dogs were treated to a bowl of treats and water so we could eat our breakfast along with them - I have never known such lovely gestures as this at any other dog friendly hotel we have stayed at previously. There were certain area's inside the hotel the dogs weren't allowed so other customers that didn't have dogs could enjoy their meals in peace, which is totally understandable. They were allowed in the lovely beer garden outside too which is glorious when the sun shines! The room we stayed in was lovely and all facilities catered for especially the tea pot (I love a good pot of tea!) along with the rest of the tea & coffee - another great touch from the hotel. The food was amazing and we never ate anywhere else except the hotel as there was enough choice of food & drinks and the service from the staff was exceptional. They made our dogs...
