Went for a drink as it was the only pub open in the village, and was kindly greeted by Nicola who took our order for drinks and gave us a... read more menu for bar snacks. We ordered two portions of chips and as I am gluten free I informed her of my allergy and she advised me that the chips would be cooked in a gluten free fryer. After a wait of 40 mins we were wondering where our food was, We were informed by a waiter that there had been an issue in the kitchen and our food was on its way. Due to the long wait were offered free drinks and 10% off our bill.
The waiter went out of his way to find the bus timetable for the next day which we thought was good service. This made us return the next day where we had a meal and Paul gave excellent service. Relaxed environment and extremely dog friendly. We would go again.
